Brake Rotor Replacement — Houston Mobile Service

⚡ Quick Answer

We replace rotors — we don't resurface them. Pads and rotors together from $314 per axle. A technician comes to your location in Houston, installs new parts, and backs everything with a 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on parts.

Pedal pulsing? Steering wheel shaking when you brake? Those are usually warped rotors. We replace them at your home or office with brand-new parts — no resurfacing, no cutting corners.

Signs Your Rotors Need Replacing

What's Included in Rotor Replacement

New Rotors — Never Resurfaced

We install brand-new rotors, properly torqued to spec. We don't cut corners by machining old ones.

New Pads at the Same Time

New rotors always get new pads. Installing old pads on new rotors is a waste of money — we don't do it.

Full Brake System Check

While the wheels are off, we inspect calipers, lines, and hardware. If anything else needs attention, we tell you.

Torque Verification and Test

Every fastener torqued to spec, pedal feel checked, brakes tested before we leave.

Rotor Replacement Questions

What does rotor replacement cost?

Why don't you resurface rotors?

Resurfacing shaves metal off the rotor, making it thinner and less able to handle heat. It also introduces the potential for runout (uneven surface). For the small difference in cost, new rotors are simply a better job — they last longer, perform better, and come with our full 24-month warranty.

How long does this take?

About 60-90 minutes per axle. Both axles takes 2-3 hours, done at your location.

How long do rotors last?

Typically 50,000-70,000 miles, but Houston's stop-and-go traffic and summer heat can accelerate wear. Heavy braking habits matter too. We measure them on every brake job and tell you honestly where you stand.
